The Department of Physics has established in the spring of 1989, the Center for the Study and Preservation of Scientific Instruments assigning to this structure, which the Senate and the Board of Directors recognized the character entities museum is its collection of tools many other ancient and more recent equipment of recognized scientific and educational value.
The Center has been decided to entrust the collection from within the Institute of Technical Physics, equipped with the tools of the teaching of Physics Experimental Physics and Technology, in addition to the relics of Antonio Pacinotti and its library.
